What's on the Brain Right Now:

Death Note, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Much Ado About Nothing

Haruhi Box

Ahem. Because it must be said, and said often, even before posts of actual context:

BEST.
BOX.
EVER.

And the dub was even better than I remembered it being. Wendee Lee has easily joined my list of the only three people currently in the industry that could take on Haruhi Suzumiya. Hirano Aya will always be Haruhi, no question about it, but Lee gives an excellent performance.

As for the rest, my thoughts stand: Crispin Freeman is EPIC as Kyon, Sheh does Mikuru as no one else can, Ruff matches the original Japanese well and by the end of the disk gets even better in some regards, and Bosch performs admirably. I still need to see more of him, as I did Ruff.

Thoughts on the LJ Scandal of '07 to come.
